A self-serve sandbox is designed to flatter the vendor. The dataset is clean, the path is scripted, and there is not a duplicate in sight. It proves the product works on the vendor's data, which was never in doubt.
A governance platform earns trust the other way round: on your data, with your worst sources, in front of the people who will have to live with the result.
Two ways in
An engagement with TellParrot starts as a 45-minute demo or a 14-day guided trial. The demo is live, on the platform, and can be run against your own data when that is useful. The trial is run with our team, on your data, in an environment provisioned for you. It is not a self-serve signup, and we say so on the site, because the value of the fortnight comes from the people in it.
What the fortnight contains
Sources come in through whichever path fits: file upload, the ingestion API, a database or warehouse connector, a Microsoft or SaaS connector. Before anything is committed, the platform shows a preview of what processing will do, and records that fail a gate are held rather than loaded. Matching runs with the rules configured for your fields, and stewards review the clusters with a survivorship preview. The first golden records are approved by a person, and from the first action the evidence chain is recording.
By the end there is a mastered record set, a quality baseline with history, and an audit trail you can already hand to someone else. Those are the three things a governance programme spends its first year trying to produce.
What it is not
It is not a migration project. Existing systems stay where they are; TellParrot sits across them as the mastering and governance layer rather than replacing the ERP, the CRM or billing. It is not a big-bang cutover. Rollout runs in waves, not projects, at enterprise pace, inside your change control. And it does not require a new procurement route: TellParrot is available as a transactable offer on the Azure Marketplace against the Microsoft agreement you already hold.
After the trial
A trial that has run on real data ends with a real decision. The environment, the records and the evidence chain carry forward into the first wave, so nothing built in the fortnight is thrown away. That continuity is the reason we run trials this way, and the reason we do not run them any other way.
